Credits are the unit of access for AI-powered features in Scatterbrainz — such as intelligent project import, shared report generation, and AI-assisted deliverable suggestions. Each plan includes a monthly credit allocation. Credits are not currency and have no monetary value outside the platform. They exist to give you a predictable, fair way to consume AI features without surprise billing.

Unused monthly plan credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not carry forward by default. On plans with rollover enabled, unused credits roll into the next cycle — but only for one additional cycle. They do not accumulate indefinitely. Top-up credits (purchased separately) are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase regardless of your subscription.

When your credit balance reaches zero, AI-powered features are temporarily unavailable until your next billing cycle refills your allocation (or until you purchase a top-up bundle). Your project data, progress tracking, and all non-AI features remain fully accessible at all times — running out of credits never locks you out of your data.

Yes — cancel anytime, no contract, no cancellation fee. Monthly subscriptions renew each month until cancelled; your access continues through the end of the paid period. Annual subscriptions have a 14-day money-back window; after that, a prorated refund is available. See the full cancellation and refund policy for details.

Your project data is private to your account. We do not share, sell, or expose your project content to any third party except as required to deliver the service (Netlify hosting infrastructure, Anthropic API for AI processing when you explicitly use AI features). Monthly subscriptions: no prorated refunds, but you keep access through the end of the paid period. Annual subscriptions: full refund within 14 days of purchase; prorated refund after 14 days. Payments are processed by Stripe. We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Apple Pay, and Google Pay. All prices are in USD.
